The SDA Token MiCA white paper: version record through v1.3

SDA Token's MiCA white paper is at version 1.3, published July 16, 2026 and notified through the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority for 29 EEA states. Notification is a filing obligation, not an approval. No regulator has reviewed, endorsed or guaranteed the token, and the white paper says so itself.

What a MiCA white paper actually is

Under the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, an issuer offering a crypto-asset that is neither an asset-referenced token nor an e-money token must publish a white paper in a prescribed format and notify its home-state competent authority. SDA Token falls in that third category, the one MiCA calls "crypto-assets other than asset-referenced tokens or e-money tokens" and everyone else calls utility tokens.

The document is machine-readable by design. It is published as inline XBRL, with numbered fields, so a supervisor or an aggregator can pull a specific fact out of it rather than reading prose. The token's Digital Token Identifier, ZHSMZL7F9, sits in field F.13.

Notified is not approved

This is the single most misread fact about any MiCA filing. Notifying a white paper means the issuer has filed it and taken responsibility for its contents. The competent authority does not pre-approve it, does not verify the business behind it, and does not vouch for the asset. A crypto-asset that has been through the process is not a safer investment than one that has not; it is a documented one.

Anyone describing SDA as "MiCA approved", "regulator approved" or "EU licensed" is overstating it, whoever they are.

Version record

Version Date Status
v1.0 See the archive Superseded
v1.1 January 19, 2026 Superseded
v1.2 See the archive Superseded. First version carrying the registered DTI in field F.13
v1.3 July 16, 2026 Current. Notified via FIN-FSA for 29 EEA states

Every version stays published. Superseded versions are kept in the white paper archive rather than replaced in place, because a regulatory document that silently changes is not a record of anything. If you cited a figure from an earlier version, that version is still there to cite.

Where the white paper and this site differ

They should not. The white paper is authoritative and this site summarises it. Where a summary and the filed document disagree, the filed document wins, and the summary is the thing that needs fixing. Our white paper preview exists to make the document approachable, not to replace it.

Not investment advice. A notified white paper is a disclosure document. Read the risk section in the filed version before doing anything, and treat any claim of regulatory approval as a red flag.
